The Wedding of Cheryl and Jack! Xx
In February of this year, I had the pleasure of photographing Cheryl and Jack’s special day.
I first met Cheryl when she was maid of honour to another of my brides (and a dear friend) who’s wedding I photographed; the lovely Claire. Fast forward 6 years (yes SIX years!!) and the roles are reversed. Whilst Claire was dressed in a gorgeous floor length navy blue number and played the part of chief bridesmaid, Cheryl looked stunning in her beautiful strapless bridal gown with flowing red curls and veil to match. Perhaps one of the calmest brides I’ve met on the morning of her wedding, nothing seemed to phase our bride and before long, it was time for her to walk down the aisle to her beaming husband-to-be.
The ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception took place at The Bull Hotel, Gerrards Cross and fortunately, the weather held so we were able to get some lovely group shots and couple shots in the vast grounds of the hotel.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I do love a wedding. It is such a privilege to witness so many special moments over the course of such a monumental day in the lives of not just two people but also of their families and friends they have invited to share it with. I often enjoy the speeches as I feel I am allowed a peek into the past of the couple and groom Jack, father of the bride Kevin and best man Aaron did not disappoint. It was a truly lovely day and a wonderful, welcoming and warm wedding.
Thank you once again, Cheryl and Jack. I hope these images (as well as the 250 or so more in your gallery) do justice to it.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs S!!
