Photo Session with Baby Raya!! Xx

Since having our little girl (a now 19 month old toddler), I have been particularly bad at blogging recent work.  However, I really wanted to share this newborn session as, having known the family for quite a few years now, it was a special afternoon spent with them all.  I hope you enjoy their slideshow.

I met expectant parents Guj and Harj in 2012 when Guj was pregnant with the gorgeous Kaiden. Guj booked me for a Bump to Baby package and, over this time, I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say I got to know the family well. I do really love these packages as, not only do I get to capture one of the most amazing stages of a family history but I also get to spend time with a lot of lovely people.

So when Guj contacted me last year to tell me she was expecting a baby girl and wanted me to take some photos once little one arrived, I was so extremely happy for the family and overjoyed to hear they wanted me to capture her.

At almost 4 months old, Raya was the perfect model. It’s a lovely stage as she is already developing her own little character traits as this age. She was certainly a patient little thing and Kaiden played the role of caring big brother perfectly. Some of my favourite shots from the session are of the two of them together.
