Portrait session with the gorgeous Eisha!!

Things have been pleasantly manic my end.  It’s lovely to be busy and, with it getting so cold, it is sometimes quite satisfying to be sitting indoors all toasty warm working on editing images.  With that in mind, it’s about time I posted another of the many recent sessions I have had the pleasure of taking.  One of these days, I’ll work out how to find the time to post them all in some resemblance of order?!

On a crisp November afternoon, Neetu and Saty brought their beautiful 18 month old daughter Eisha to meet me. Having received a gift voucher from a friend who had bought a Bump to Baby package from me earlier in the year, the family felt it was the right time to have that special session; just in time for Christmas.

Eisha looked very pretty in her flowery dress and seemed perfectly at ease with me and the studio. Eisha is at that age when she’s eager to run around but isn’t quite steady enough for her parents to be completely confident of leaving her side even if she wants to make a mad dash from one end of the room to the other. I love photographing this age as, although sometimes you need to be on guard to catch, chase or comfort a little one, the curiosity and range of expressions can make toddlers the perfect subject and Eisha’s beautiful big eyes made her a delight to photograph.
