I have literally known this beautiful bride all of her life. Our families have been friends for over 30 years and I was delighted when Jess and Dan announced their engagement two and a half years ago. Having been dating for two years after meeting on a dating website, they took the plunge, booked the stunning Kingscote Barn in South Gloucestershire and exchanged vows in August of this year.
One of the most endearing things about this couple for me was hearing how many times their paths had crossed in the years before they started dating. Jess knew Dan’s sister at school and at her 18th birthday party, Dan and one of his best mate’s (and best men at the wedding) were the DJ’s. Although this fated couple didn’t officially get together for another 3 years, it seems they were destined to be.
The day of their wedding was full of wonderful little details that had so obviously been so delightfully thought out. As a photographer who adores such details, I felt the whole day was full of little gems ready for me to photograph. Another delight was working with the lovely Laura Grace Photography who was my second shooter for the day. Not only is she a lovely lady, but she’s also fun to work with. Thank you Laura – you’re an absolute star and I look forward to working with you again.
Other people worth a mention were the following as their contributions didn’t go unnoticed and those that I was lucky enough to meet, were a delight to spend time (and share a laugh) with:
Although I didn’t expect anything else, it truly was a wonderful (and emotional) day filled with joy, happiness and laughter. I’m so pleased to have been a part of it and have had the honour to capture your day, Jess and Dan. I’m equally ecstatic that you like the photos and look forward to working on your album once you’ve been through the 500 NOT included in your slideshow highlights!!
Your gallery will be up shortly and your files wired over to you as soon as I can.
Enjoy it all over again and lots of love to the families. (I hope they like it too!!)
