Jess and Dan’s Engagement Shoot!! Xx

I’ve known Jess all of her life. Our families go back decades (sorry mum!!) and it was only a matter of time before the lovely Dan saw everything we love about our beautiful Jess and asked her to marry him.

Jess contacted me about a month ago filled with excitement over her recent engagement to Dan in May. Whilst initially the weekend had been planned by Jess to take Dan away for a birthday treat, he couldn’t believe his luck when, on the same weekend he was planning to propose, she was taking him to Paris!! Some may say serendipity played a part in making this engagement super romantic!!

As with all my couple shoots, I feel it is important for my clients to feel comfortable in their environment so after a discussion as to whether Jess and Dan wanted a studio or location setting, we settled on the fields behind where Jess and Dan live in Bristol. This was a perfect choice for these guys as they love the outdoors and seemed perfectly at home with not just each other but their beautiful west country backdrop.

With Ellie the dog in tow, we took a walk, passed a few neighbours (and football mates) and, with the sun shining down, I feel we captured some cracking photos of this truly gorgeous couple!!
